Bell & Gossett, Wallace Eannace go the extra mile as essential businesses

NEW YORK (Jul. 8, 2020) – As business priorities have been shifting during recent months, essential businesses such as Xylem Bell & Gossett and its manufacturers’ representatives are responding to the changing times by supplying assistance on many fronts in communities across the United States.

“In these trying times, Xylem and Bell & Gossett reps have stepped up to the plate to help American cities, their facilities and, most importantly, their people,” said Susan O’Grady, director of marketing — Commercial Buildings Americas, Xylem. “From donating pumping equipment to keep hospital operations moving to providing PPE to local health care facilities, B&G and its reps have been there for its customers as an essential business and more.”

Wallace Eannace, a Bell & Gossett manufacturers’ representative, has recently partnered with Xylem Watermark and has been donating PPE (Protective Face Shields & N95 Face Masks) to local hospitals, police departments, fire departments and nursing Homes in the New York & New Jersey metropolitan area.  To date, they have donated more than 1,500 face shields and are continuing to donate as needed. Wallace Eannace has also donated HVAC pumping equipment to the local White Plains Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery, in New York.

“We are dedicated to exceptional performance of hydronic HVAC and plumbing systems in high-rises, hospitals, and other facilities,” said Darryl Clark, corporate vice president, Wallace Eannace. “Classified as an ‘essential business’ throughout the COVID-19 shelter in place quarantine, we remained open, and we were here for our customers – particularly focused on hospitals, medical facilities, fire and law enforcement infrastructure as well as affordable housing.”

With construction projects picking up steam again across the U.S., Wallace Eannace is fully engaged once again in their respective area. Bell & Gossett’s network of manufacturer’s representatives possesses deep component and system knowledge combined with an enduring commitment to customer service to solve facility challenges with Bell & Gossett products, city by city and project by project. Bell & Gossett pumps, valves, heat exchangers and accessories for plumbing, wastewater and HVAC applications are at work in numerous marquee projects in New York and New Jersey, including these select projects:

  • P.S. 62
  • Stony Brook University — East Campus Chiller Plant
  • Stony Brook University – Mart Building
  • Rockefeller University River Campus
  • JPMorgan Chase & Co.

“Our trusted representatives work closely with Bell & Gossett engineers and project partners to ensure hydronic systems meet the goals of each unique project — from delivering reliable pumping power to saving space in mechanical rooms to meeting energy targets — and providing occupant comfort for years to come,” O’Grady said. “Bell & Gossett is proud to be associated with some of the most dedicated and committed partners out there in the HVAC and plumbing markets.”
