NIBCO expands its press valve line. The Press Slip Ball Valve (PC-FP600A-S-LF) is easily added to existing copper piping. It also can replace an old valve without needing extra fittings. In addition, the valve simplifies installation by eliminating multiple connections and leak paths. The valve is perfect for drinking water, HVAC, and domestic hot and cold water applications.

The NIBCO vavle has a patented leak detection feature rated to 250 psi cold working pressure. The valve is created using dezincification-resistant lead-free brass. The valve is available in ½- to 1-inch sizes and has a a maximum pressure rating of 225 psi at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. While the valve is not intended for steam or gas usage, it is capable of isolation and throttling. The Press Slip Ball Valve can be connected to rigid copper tubing manufactured per ASTM B88, Condition H (hard drawn). In addition, the valve meets IAPMO/ANSI Z1157, NSF/ANSI-61/372 and MSS SP-110/145 and conforms to ASME B16.51.
