This week, the tallest residential building in Brooklyn, Olympia Dumbo, officially launched sales.
The 33-story condominium tower located in Brooklyn’s highly sought-after Dumbo neighborhood features 76 thoughtful residences, starting at $1.75 million, and will break records if the penthouses sell for their asking prices.
Featuring sail-like architecture by Hill West, the building was developed by Brooklyn-based Fortis Property Group, with interiors and amenities designed by renowned architecture firm Workstead. Sales will be handled by the Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman in collaboration with Karen Heyman of Sotheby’s International Realty.
The residences range from one to five bedrooms with private terraces, plus penthouses. Future residents will enjoy stunning, panoramic views of the New York Harbor and lower Manhattan skyline.
Additionally, Olympia Dumbo features 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces spread over three floors. The wellness offerings are unheard of in Dumbo, with both indoor and outdoor pools, NYC’s highest private outdoor tennis court with views over the Brooklyn Bridge, fitness center, sauna and steam room, movement studio, and separate spin studio, as well as a juice bar. Olympia Dumbo’s youngest residents have access to a playroom, outdoor shipwreck-themed playground and private park, and a waterpark.
Residents enter through a porte cochère into a stunning double-height lobby with an adjoining garden lounge.
Olympia is a project 235 years in the making. The building’s name is a nod to the history of Dumbo; long before Dumbo became the desirable neighborhood it is today, it was a village named Olympia. Over time, Olympia became part of the Parish of Brookland, and then the City of New York.
