CIRCOR introduces its new RTK Bottom Blowdown Valve. This valve is designed to increase equipment efficiency and simplify blowdown operations. The angle design of the valve allows for easy access to clear particulates and dissolved solids from hot water boilers. The RTK Bottom Blowdown Valve is available as either a pneumatic-powered valve or as a manual actuation valve. The product uses water efficiently as possible by having a quick-open feature. In an effort to increase the lifetime of the valve, the blowdown valve is built with both hardened trim and an anti-flashing seat. It also includes a stuffing box and high-grade grooved metal gaskets to decrease the amount of maintenance necessary. In addition, the valve has a special guided cone head to decrease vibrations and a reduced area of bonnet zone to decrease pressure shocks.
CIRCOR designed the RTK Bottom Blowdown Valve for PN 63 / DN 20 to PN 160 / DN 50 applications. They offer the product with a flanged end connection or with a butt weld end connection.
